Step 1. Complete and submit Licensure Application for Occupational Therapists or Licensure Application for Occupational Therapy Assistants and fee to PCS. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks to process your application once PCS has received all documentation.

Step 2. Applicant requests license verifications from each state of licensure to be sent to PCS.
Step 3. PCS receives information from license verifications from applicable states.
Step 4. PCS reviews application for completeness.
If incomplete, PCS will notify candidate in writing.
PCS mails license letter to approved applicant.
Step 5. PCS sends license information to MA Board.
Step 6. MA Board posts license number on website within 1 week when scores are mailed.
Step 7. MA Board mails wallet-sized license to applicant within 6 weeks after scores are mailed.
