NOTE: If you have previously registered with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy and your registration number has expired, you are considered to be a renewal candidate and must contact the Board at 1-800-414-0168
1. Applicant completes and submits Pharmacy Technician Registration Application along with required documentation and fees to PCS. Note: if a Good Moral Question on the application is answered 'yes', then applicant must complete and submit Criminal Offender Record Information Request Form.
Applicants registered as pharmacy technicians in another U.S. jurisdiction must attach a letter of official verification from the board of original registration. A copy of the certificate will NOT be accepted.
2. PCS reviews application for completeness.
If complete, PCS will send approval letter to applicant.
If incomplete, PCS will contact applicant with additional instructions.
3. Approved applicant's registration number will be posted on Board's website within 3 days of approval.
4. Board mails registration card to applicant within 2 weeks
Applicants registered as Pharmacy Technician in another U.S. jurisdiction must request a letter of official verification be mailed directly to PCS from the Board of original registration.
