1. Download and complete board's Application for Licensure (click here to locate the application on the state board's website)
2. Submit completed application and $273 fee to PCS
3. PCS will forward completed application to Board
4. Board reviews application and notifies PCS of approval
5. PCS emails approved applicant Approval Letter
6. Applicant mails Approval Letter with $30 fee to PCS or calls to register by phone
7. PCS emails admission material to applicant 2 weeks before exam
8. Applicant tests
9. PCS emails scores to examinees within 6 to 8 weeks of examination
Failing candidates will receive score notice with Scheduling Form
Passing candidates will receive score notice with license information
10. Passing examinees submit score notice with license fee to Board
$78 made payable to Commonwealth of Massachusetts to the following address:

11. Board posts license information to Board's website within 2 weeks (click here to Check License)
12. Board mails certificate of licensure to candidate within 4-6 weeks of payment receipt
