be 16 years old.
have 9th grade education or GED.
obtain a negative 5TU-PPD Tuberculin Skin Test and/or a chest x-ray taken within one year.
have one of the following:
Complete a 1,500-hour course in a board-approved Barber school or College.
Complete 12 months training personally supervised by a registered barber, which must include at least 1,920-hours.
be 16 years old.
